Getting the pros and cons of a colossal sized industry such as the ski and snowboard industry has been very important to the four of since the beginning. Skiing and snowboarding is a hobby that many people around the world partake in every single year. It seems that more and more people are picking this amazing hobby up every year, yet have no idea about the some of the negative repercussions that come with. Don’t get us wrong, there are many great things that this industry does for the environment and people, and we will make sure to educate everybody on those as well. The main point that Shred the Footprint truly wants to get across though is that there are a lot of harmful things this industry does to our environment, and if people are more mindful about these things everyone will be able to continue enjoying this fantastic sport for years to come.

Contributor Bios

Jesse: Jesse was born and raised in Colorado and has been skiing since he could walk. This has been a sport that he has been passionate about since he could remember, and that is why he wants to share his knowledge about it to the public.

Henry: Henry has been skiing with his family since he was a kid. While he is not an avid skier, he still enjoys spending time with his family in the beautiful mountains with his family whenever the opportunity arises.

William: Will is not a huge skier or snowboarder but he really enjoys the scene of the sport. He loves the beautiful snowy mountains,  watching skiers and boarders compete, and the overall feel of mountain towns as well as the sport.

Erin: While Erin was born in Wisconsin, she actually ended up being raised in the beautiful state of Colorado. She has gone snowboarding with her family as well since she was a kid. Growing up in the state of Colorado has left a spot for snow and winter sports near and dear to her heart.
